First Steps:

1.) Download Novos_Easy_DiamondCore_Handler.exe

2.) Start Novos_Easy_DiamondCore_Handler.exe

3.) Make "First Install", download the newest Full Server and install it!

4.) After the Setup of the Full Server, start Novos_Easy_DiamondCore_Handler.exe from Startmenu!

5.) Do again the "First Install" and let the Tool automatically Create the Maps,
or download them.

After this, the Server is READY!

Now you have to edit the file: "World of Warcraft\Data\YOURLANGUAGE\realmlist.wtf" with notepadm delete all Text and write:
set realmlist 127.0.0.1

After this, you are READY!
Just click on START SERVER and login in WoW with the default Account: admin / admin

Ich finde dass es für mich reicht, ansonsten kann ich ja auch auf frostmourne-wow.eu zocken ;O

Novos ist eig für Anfänger, und diese werden sicher etwas damit anfangen können

how do i get people to link to my server my friends can login but they cant open the realms for some reason they just get booted back to the realm list plz help

U have to edit the realmlist-table at the auth-DB.
This table should contain a column called "address" if there is an entry with "120.0.0.1" change it to your Hamanchi/Internet-IP, than your friend can connect.
If the Server runs at your Localmachine where you are playing, please add a realm for 127.0.0.1 too, elsewhise you can't play on this server.
For this configuration the Ports should be the same twice.

Ich finde der Easy-Emu hat schon seine Berechtigung, auch wenn man es belächelt.
Immerhin kann man hier einige Erfahrungen sammeln, man sollte dies aber nur für Hamachi oder DynDNS nutzen und definitiv nicht auf einem richtigen Root mit allen SchnickSchnack.

Habe auch mit nem Novos angefangen (2.x.x), übriggeblieben ist die später nur noch der Restarter und die DB. Die Core wurde durch Trinity (ab rev49 first Pub) ersetzt weil ne Mangos-Core so ziemlich das Letzte war/ist.
Heute nutze ich nix mehr von dem Kinderspielzeugs, aber aus errinerungstechnischen Gründen liegt die alte 2.4.3 DB, TCore und der Restarter als Rar-Archive aufm Fileserver (die DB und Core habe ich dann noch bis zum Schluss gepflegt).
